Srei Sahaj, is a subsidiary of Srei Infrastructure Finance Limited, has delved into bridging the digital divide between urban and rural India. Srei Sahaj e-Village Limited has taken a phenomenal initiative to make information and knowledge reach all corners of the country. Recognizing the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Manmohan Singh’s vision of a rural India that goes hand in hand with its urban counterpart in having unlimited access to all Government services, Srei Sahaj has embarked upon a mammoth e-Governance Project. Srei Sahaj has taken up the establishment of Common Service Centres (CSCs) that were identified as one of the 4 pillars of the NeGP of the Government of India.

Sahaj has delved into Infrastructural Development pertaining to set up, operate & manage as many as 28006 CSCs across six states. Till date Srei-Sahaj has rolled out 24000 plus CSCs across the 6 Sahaj states. We have started offering over 30 services, including digital photography, digital videography, NREGA photograph, NREGA data collection, government form submission, information regarding electoral processes- addition and deletion, date entry (LA and LR), DTP, ROR, Internet, death certificate, birth certificate, e-Learning, electric bill collection (WBSEDCL), BSNL bill collection, mobile top ups, railway & flight ticket booking, advertising, job portal and examination results.

Traditionally, Sahaj or ‘Sahaja’ means joy that evolves from the soul, naturally. And true joy is derived from sharing knowledge and wisdom. Sahaja, true to its name, is committed towards devising ways to make information and knowledge available to one and all is the greatest of services to mankind.
